This Privacy Policy explains what data Salesio collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your information. It applies to salesio.app and any Salesio service you use.
1. Who we are
Salesio, operated from Silver Spring, MD, USA, is the data controller for the personal information described below. For privacy questions, contact privacy@salesio.app.
2. What we collect
- Account data. Name, email, password (hashed), language preference.
- Business profile. Business name, services, logos, hours, address — whatever you put into your site.
- Payment data. Card information is processed by Stripe; we only store the last four digits and billing email.
- Usage data. Pages you visit on salesio.app, features you use, error logs.
- Device data. IP address, browser type, operating system.
- Communications. Emails and chat messages you send us.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the Service (publish your site, send emails, process payments).
- To bill you correctly and detect fraud.
- To send transactional and product emails.
- To improve the product (anonymized usage analytics).
- To comply with our legal obligations.
4. Who we share data with
We never sell your personal data. We share it with the following service providers, each contractually bound to protect it:
- Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
- Twilio — SMS notifications for booking confirmations.
- OpenAI — AI chat and content suggestions.
- Google — Maps, optional analytics.
- Hosting providers — Render, Vercel, and cPanel-based hosting for published sites.
5. International transfers
Salesio is hosted primarily in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time.

7. Cookies

8. Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for 90 days after cancellation. Billing records are kept for 7 years to comply with US tax law.
9. Security
We use TLS for data in transit, encrypted storage for data at rest, hashed passwords, and access controls. If a breach affects you, we'll notify you within 72 hours of discovery.
10. Children
Salesio is not intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children; if we discover we have, we delete it immediately.
11. Changes
We update this policy occasionally. For material changes we notify users by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
